This chain begins as a single strand of sterling silver wire. Each link is painstakingly wound to form approximately 400 rings, each needing to be cut and joined together. These links are then shaped and intricately linked together, forming an eye-catching, detailed chain.
Flat wire is then formed to create the end caps for the clasps to attach to, soldered on securely with no open jump rings, meaning that this is an incredibly strong chain.
You will not find a similar chain available through other jewellery retailers, to be honest it just does not make any economic sense to hand make chains in this fashion. However, I find this process incredibly rewarding and am happy to take the time to create a unique piece of jewellery that reflects the ethos of the brand.

All Apoma jewellery is made using solid precious metals, making them completely water and sweat proof. Safe to wear all day every day.
However all jewellery is susceptible to a build up of dirt and grime.
Cleaning your jewellery can be done with a toothbrush and some hot soapy water :)
